Our Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payments

• All bookings require full payment to be confirmed unless otherwise stated.

• For shoots over $300, a non‑refundable deposit is required to secure the booking.

• Event photography bookings require a 25% non‑refundable deposit upon confirmation.

• Deposits are non‑transferable and non‑refundable if the client cancels.

• Final invoices must be paid within 14 days of issue.

• ANJ Photography reserves the right to withhold images until all payments are made in full.

2. Services

• Photography services are billed hourly or according to the package purchased.

• Any additional hours, edits, or extra images requested will be quoted separately.

• The agreed service is based on the package selected at the time of booking.

3. Deliverables

• Images are delivered digitally via a secure downloadable link unless otherwise agreed.

• Physical products (prints, USBs, canvas, albums) are purchased separately.

• Fast‑track editing is available for an additional $100.

• Wedding and school photography turnaround time is 2–4 weeks due to volume.

4. Vouchers

• Vouchers act as a discount or credit toward a session.

• Each voucher can be used once only and only by the person named on the voucher.

• Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or combined with other offers unless stated.

5. Contracts

• All photography sessions require a signed contract before the shoot date.

• Failure to sign may result in cancellation of the booking.

6. Copyright

• All images remain the copyright of ANJ Photography.

• Proofs, digital files, prints, and all related materials remain the property of the photographer.

7. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

• ANJ Photography retains the right to use images for marketing, portfolio, promotional, and competition purposes.

• The client grants unrestricted permission for the photographer to use and edit images for commercial or promotional use.

• The client releases ANJ Photography from any claims related to the use of these images.

8. Alterations

• Clients may not alter, crop, distort, or edit images without written permission.

• ANJ Photography is not liable for issues arising from client‑made alterations.

• Clients may make unlimited personal‑use copies.

• Written permission is required before selling or publishing images for financial gain.

9. Indemnity

• ANJ Photography is not responsible for loss, injury, or damage arising from unforeseen circumstances during the session.

• The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the photographer from any claims related to the use or reproduction of images.

10. Cancellations & Photographer Unavailability

• If the photographer cannot attend due to illness or emergency, every effort will be made to arrange a suitable replacement at no extra cost.

• If no replacement is available, all payments (including deposits) will be refunded in full.

• If the photographer withdraws due to client‑related issues (date changes, non‑payment, venue restrictions), refunds will be issued minus travel and work already completed, charged at $110 per hour.

11. Attribution

• When images are shared publicly (online, print, social media), ANJ Photography requests that credit be given.

• Copyright logos or watermarks must not be removed or cropped out.

12. Confidentiality

• All discussions and information shared between the client and ANJ Photography are confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties.

13. Locations & Permissions

• Clients are responsible for securing access and photography permissions at all locations.

• ANJ Photography is not responsible for missed shots due to late arrivals, venue restrictions, or delays.

• Clients must ensure guest photographers do not interfere with the official photography.

14. Loss or Damage

• ANJ Photography uses professional equipment and backup processes to protect your images.

• If images are lost, stolen, or damaged beyond recovery, liability is limited to a full refund of all payments made.

• If only part of the material is lost or damaged, a pro‑rata refund will be issued based on the package purchased.

15. Weddings

• Clients must provide a pose list including reference images before the wedding day.

• Due to the unpredictable nature of weddings (weather, lighting, subject availability), ANJ Photography cannot guarantee every requested image will be captured.

16. Agreement

By booking with ANJ Photography, the client acknowledges and agrees to all terms and conditions listed above. This agreement is legally binding and treated as equivalent to a manually signed contract.
